BlackmagicPocket 6K Pro

A Super 35 sized 6K sensor with small photosites. The lower resolutions are windows, so a lens frames tighter as the resolution drops.

Sensor 23.10 × 12.99 mm (Super 35), 6144 × 3456 photosites, 3.76 µm pitch, rolling shutter.

Drawn to the same scale on every camera page. Grey is the whole sensor, the coloured figures are the open mode.

≈ marks an estimate. * marks an uncertain readout: nobody has measured that mode on this camera, so the figure is worked out from a measured mode by line count, from a camera on the same sensor, or from the frame rate it reaches. Top frame rate is the highest the camera offers in that mode, in its best codec and on its fastest media; other codecs often stop lower. Readout is how long the sensor takes to scan one frame from top to bottom, which is what leans verticals on a fast pan. Under 10 ms is comfortable handheld; past about 16 ms fast movement starts to lean.

Frame rates from Blackmagic Design's published specifications, Blackmagic RAW. Modes and frame rates change with firmware, so check the current manual before a job depends on one. This camera is not on Dynamic range by camera yet.
